NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are investigating after gunshots were apparently fired in the city’s West End on Sunday night.

New Bedford Police confirmed to WBSM News that just after 7 p.m. on April 4, patrol units responded to 84 Linden Street, near the intersection of Linden and Reynolds Street. Police were responding to a ShotSpotter activation indicating that four shots were fired in front of the home.

Police say there was property damage but that there were no injuries reported, and that an investigation is underway.
