New Bedford Police Search for Robbery Suspect

New Bedford Police are looking for a robbery suspect.

According to police, the suspect robbed the Mt. Pleasant Street Getty Mart at knifepoint around 8am Saturday. The 38-year-old female clerk was not injured, and the suspect fled in a stolen 1996 red Buick Century with an undisclosed amount of cash. The car was recovered a short time later.

The suspect is described as a thin, light-skinned male, around 5' 10", wearing a black jacket, black mask, and a dark cap.
