New Bedford Police: Man Assaulted with Object

NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police are investigating a report of an assault early Monday morning.

Police say a man reported being injured at a home at 641 County Street at around 5:41 a.m. on Monday. Further investigation revealed the man may have been assaulted with an object.

Police are investigating and expect charges to be filed in the case.
