Nearly $100,000 in cash and drugs were seized along with a firearm and ammunition as part of a drug bust in the South End of New Bedford.

New Bedford Police executed search warrants at three locations Tuesday as part of an investigation into a cocaine and heroin delivery service. Police say they found 280 grams of cocaine and 180 grams of heroin at one location, a .22 supershot eight handgun and assorted ammunition at a second location, and about $46,000 in cash at a third location. The drugs have an estimated street value of $46,000.

Police have arrested 37-year-old Rafael Reyes in connection to the bust. Reyes is charged with trafficking in cocaine (more than 200 grams), trafficking in heroin (more than 100 grams), possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, subsequent offense; possession of heroin with intent to distribute, subsequent offense; trafficking heroin in a school zone (Trinity Day Academy) and trafficking cocaine in a school zone (Trinity Day Academy).

Police say they're investigating the ownership of the weapon and ammunition.
