New Bedford Police Investigating Two Reported Armed Robberies Tuesday

NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police are investigating reports of two armed robberies in the city Tuesday.

According to New Bedford Police documents, the first robbery was reported at 4:26 a.m. at 62 Roosevelt Street. Police recorded the incident as an armed robbery.

The second robbery was reported at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday at 277 Belleville Ave. Police logs indicate a firearm and a mask were used in the reported crime.

New Bedford Police say "Both incidents are under active investigation and we are not releasing anything on them."
