New Bedford Police Investigating South End Stabbing

NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating a reported stabbing and robbery in the city's South End.

Sunday morning at approximately 3:30 a.m., New Bedford Police say they responded to Pleasant street near Grinnell Street for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, the man told police he had been robbed.

The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.

Police say the incident is under investigation.
