New Bedford Police Investigating Reports of Man Struck by Gunfire

NEW BEDFORD — A man is reportedly facing non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot in New Bedford’s south end on Sunday.

New Bedford Police have confirmed to WBSM News that reports came in last night that male may have received gunshot wounds in the area of South Rodney French Boulevard and East Rodney French Boulevard.

Authorities are withholding the victim’s name at this time. It’s unknown who was involved in the shooting or if police have named a suspect.

New Bedford Police are investigating.
