New Bedford Police Investigating Reported Stabbing

NEW BEDFORD — A possible stabbing Sunday night is under investigation by New Bedford Police.

Police responded at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday to a report of a man who said he’d been stabbed earlier in the night in the 1600-block of Acushnet Avenue.

The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are investigating.
