New Bedford Police Investigating Armed Robbery

NEW BEDFORD— New Bedford Police say they responded to an armed robbery early Saturday morning.

Police say they responded to an alleged robbery at 349 Belleville Ave around 12:30 am. After arriving on the scene, police spoke to a victim who sustained injuries and was sent for medical treatment. The incident remains under investigation.

Once found, the suspect is said to be charged with assault with serious bodily injury, armed robbery, and A+B with a serious bodily injury.
