New Bedford Police Investigating Armed Robbery

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are investigating an armed robbery outside of a liquor store Thursday night.

Police responded to Silva's Discount Liquors at 460 Mount Pleasant Street at 7:33 p.m. Thursday on a report of a man robbed outside the store.

A police spokeswoman says no one was injured, but state the incident remains under investigation and no further details will be released.
