New Bedford Police Investigating Armed Robbery

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police have confirmed a report of an armed robbery at the Xtra Mart on Durfee Street Wednesday night.

The North End convenience store, located at 117 Durfee Street, was robbed at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say it is an active investigation, and they are not releasing any further details at this time.
