New Bedford Police Investigate Reported Stabbing

NEW BEDFORD — Police were called to the 50-block of Katherine Street Thursday afternoon for a reported stabbing.

The initial report indicated that a male had been stabbed.

Further investigation revealed that the incident apparently happened at a separate location.

New Bedford police say the male was taken to the hospital. No information on his condition was given.

Detectives continue to investigate.
