New Bedford Police Investigate Report of Stolen Gun

NEW BEDFORD — The police department received a call late on Friday night about a gun being stolen.

The caller told police that the gun was stolen from a vehicle parked on Brook Street in New Bedford.

As New Bedford Police continue their investigation, they indicate a possible weapons violation, as the gun may not have been properly secured in the vehicle.
