New Bedford Police Investigate North End Burglary

NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating a burglary in New Bedford's North End on Thursday.

Police responded to 124 Bates Street at around 7 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a break-in. The occupant reported that several items had been taken from the home.

New Bedford Police Department incident logs indicate the burglary may have taken place between 12 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Police did not release information on how the alleged intruder gained access to inside the home or what items were reported stolen.
