
New Bedford Police Investigate Blanks Fired at City Apartment
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford police say the department is actively investigating an incident of "blank" rounds fired at a Brickenwood apartment earlier today.
Police spokesperson Lt. Scott Carola said the blank rounds were fired at an apartment within the Brickenwood housing development.
Carola said a suspect has already been identified.

The blank shots fired incident comes just hours after a fatal shooting on Weld Street at around 1 a.m. Friday.
