New Bedford Police Arrest Four on Drug Charges
New Bedford Police narcotics detectives arrested four people on Saturday as the result of targeting street-level drug activities in the city’s South End.
Arrested and charged were:
--Aaron Maldonado, 23, of New Bedford on charges of Distribution of a Class D Substance (Marijuana); Distribution of a Class D Substance, Subsequent Offense (Marijuana); Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws
--Kayla Raymond, 24, of Wareham on charges of Distribution of a Class A Substance (Heroin); Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws
--Brian Jones, 41, of Plymouth on charges of Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin) and Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws
--Harold Vroom, 43, of Plymouth on charges of Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin) and Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws (two counts)
All four are scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Third District Court.
