NEW BEDFORD — The New Bedford Police Department has announced a drug bust in which over 100 grams of fentanyl were seized.

Police say that on January 15, New Bedford Police Narcotics and Gang Unit detectives seized approximately 101 grams of fentanyl, 25 bullets and $1,524 in cash at 40 Roosevelt Street, No. 2.

Janet Landrau, 56, and Tanya Landrau, 24, both of that address, were arrested, along with Vivian Almeyda, 18, of 75 Valentine Street. All three are charged with trafficking fentanyl in excess of 100 grams. A juvenile was also arrested.

Detective Timothy Soares investigated the case, police said.
