New Bedford Police Arrest Man on Fentanyl, Firearm Charges

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police arrested a city man after finding drugs and a firearm at his residence.

Police say that on March 11, Narcotics and Gang Unit detectives executed a search warrant at 209 Court Street, Apartment 3. The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 71 grams of fentanyl, 14 grams of cocaine, a .45-caliber handgun, bullets and $1,575 in cash.

Police arrested a resident of that location, Andre Daniels, 25, and charged him with trafficking in fentanyl and firearms offenses.
