New Bedford Police Arrest Driver for OUI Drugs After Crash

NEW BEDFORD — A driver was arrested by New Bedford Police on Sunday night after causing a crash while operating under the influence of drugs.

New Bedford Police say that just before 9:00 p.m., 22-year-old Justice Reyes, of Providence, crashed into a parked car in the area of Sawyer Street and Coggeshall Street.

After further investigating, Reyes was determined to be under influence of drugs and was placed into custody.

Reyes faces traffic violations as well as a charge of OUI Drugs.
