New Bedford Police Arrest Brockton Man on Gun, Drug Charges
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police report that they have seized a gun, bullets and drugs following a motor vehicle stop.
Police say that on June 1, Narcotics and Gang Unit detectives seized a loaded gun, bullets, a small amount of crack cocaine, and a small amount of cash during a vehicle stop at Route 18 North and Elm Street.
Police arrested Jasaiah Velmont, 19, of Brockton, who is charged with firearm and drug offenses.
