New Bedford Mothers Take Center Stage [TOWNSQUARE SUNDAY]

With Mother's Day just days away, the United Way of Greater New Bedford is offering two new programs to help mothers and their young children.

The Baby Bundle program is designed to help new mothers, providing a "bundle" of supplies to assist mothers and their newborns.

The second program is called "Bright by Text." It provides access to a variety of early-education programs and activities free of charge, offered by a large group of national and local providers.
