NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man was arrested over the weekend following an altercation in which he allegedly had a knife.

New Bedford Police say they arrested Malcolm Greene, 30, of New Bedford around 2 p.m. on Saturday following an altercation with another party at 110 Eighth Street Apartments in New Bedford.

Police say during the altercation, Greene allegedly had a knife on him and was disorderly. Greene was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace, and carrying of certain weapons or instruments on a person or in a vehicle.
