New Bedford Man Robbed, Similar to Robberies Early This Week
NEW BEDFORD - Another robbery of a person walking at night in New Bedford.
A 36-year-old New Bedford man told police that he was walking on Rivet Street near Crapo Street in the South End around 11 P.M. Wednesday night when he was jumped by two men. The assailants stole the victim's wallet and keys. He was not injured during the robbery.
The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspects to police.
The robbery is similar to incidents Monday night when four people were robbed in three separate instances in similar fashion.
