New Bedford Man Charged with OUI Drugs, Heroin Possession
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are charging Colby McMullen, 21, of 122 Hawthorn St., New Bedford, with OUI drugs and possession of heroin after he was found under the influence of heroin Tuesday in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts, 807 Ashley Blvd.
Police responded to report of a person who was overdosing behind the wheel of a running vehicle in the parking lot. Further investigation by police determined that McMullen was under the influence. A small amount of heroin was found on his person.
Two doses of Narcan were administered before McMullen was revived. He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital for further treatment.
The incident was reported at about 9:30 a.m.
