New Bedford Man Charged With North Adams Robbery

A New Bedford man is under arrest after allegedly robbing a convenience store in North Adams.

State Police say the man, identified as 25-year-old Geraldo Martell of New Bedford, allegedly robbed the North Adams Cumberland Farms at gunpoint on September 20.

A joint investigation by State Police, North Adams Police and New Bedford Police led to Martell's arrest in a New Bedford home early Tuesday morning.

Martell has been arraigned in North Adams District Court on a charge of armed robbery while masked.
