New Bedford Man Charged After Found Slumped in Car
NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police are charging a city man after he was found slumped over in his vehicle Monday morning.
New Bedford police responded to reports around 9:30 a.m. Monday of an unresponsive man in a car in the area of 39 Rockland Street near the city's South End.
When police arrived, it was determined that the vehicle was in drive and evidence of drug use was present.
The man, Michael Fabiano, Jr., 27, of New Bedford, was transported to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.
Fabiano is charged with operating under the influence of drugs.
