New Bedford Man Arrested in Armed Robbery of Rite Aid
NEW BEDFORD — A city man is arrested following the armed robbery of a pharmacy.
New Bedford Police were called to the Rite Aid at 1207 Acushnet Avenue at approximately 7:35 p.m. Monday night on a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the victim told officers the suspect had displayed a knife, stole an undetermined amount of cash, and then fled the store. No injuries were reported.
At about 1:22 a.m. Tuesday, police arrested 25-year-old David Norman III of Garfield Street in connection. He faces armed robbery charges.
