NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man is arrested after police search his home and find over 50 grams of cocaine and hundreds of other drug tablets.

On Tuesday, October 29, New Bedford Police Narcotic Detectives concluded an investigation into a cocaine delivery service operated out of 396 Elm Street in New Bedford.

Detectives executed a search warrant at that location and arrested their target of the investigation, Domingo Perez, 58, of that address. The search of the residence yielded 59.5 grams of cocaine, along with 319 Suboxone film strips, 10 Suboxone tabs, three Oxycodone tabs, 148 Adderall tabs, 118 Lorazepam tabs, 150 Clonazepam tabs, 60 Alprazolam tabs, 30 Xanax tabs, and 58 Methyphenidate tabs.

Domingo Perez was charged with trafficking cocaine in excess of 32 grams, along with multiple charges of possessing Classes B, C, and E drugs with the intent to distribute.

Perez is due to be arraigned in District Court today. 

The lead investigator was Detective Sasha Vicente.
