New Bedford Man Arrested for Impeding Shots Fired Investigation

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police arrest a city man after he becomes combative during an investigation into a report of gun shots.

Police responded to a Shotspotter activation in the area of the 100-block of Bluefield Street at about 11:01 p.m. last night. As police arrived on the scene to investigate, an individual in the area refused to answer police questions and became argumentative and combative.

Dylan B. Crosson, 27, of 94 Fruit Street in New Bedford was charged with interfering with a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
