New Bedford Man Arrested for Fentanyl Trafficking
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police arrest a city man who was the target of a fentanyl distribution service operating out of his Nye Street address.
Thursday at approximately 3:36 p.m., police executed a search warrant at 32 Nye Street, Apartment 1N, targeting the resident of that address, 22-year-old Davaun Oswald.
A search of the location yielded over 17 grams of fentanyl, 477 grams of marijuana, over $1100 in U.S. currency, and materials consistent with the packaging and distribution of drugs.
Oswald was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl over 10 grams, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, and possession of a Class D substance, subsequent offense.
