NEW BEDFORD — The New Bedford Police narcotics unit took 20 bags of fentanyl and two Suboxone strips off the street, and made an arrest, following an investigation into a fentanyl distribution service out of 415 County Street, Apartment 508.

A search warrant was executed at the address. Twenty bags of fentanyl, two Suboxone film strips and $20 was located.

James Dillon, 62, of that address was arrested on charges of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute. The arrest was made at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday.
