New Bedford Man Arrested After Refusing to Allow Vehicle to Be Towed

NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man is arrested after he refuses to allow a vehicle to be towed.

New Bedford Police responded to a report at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning that someone was causing a disturbance over a vehicle being towed in the area of 75 Emma Street.

When police arrived, the suspect was creating a disturbance, refusing to step out of the vehicle being towed and attempting to shut the door on an officer.

Police arrested 23-year-old Kyle Jonathan Dossantos of 77 Emma Street, Apartment 1 in New Bedford on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer.
