New Bedford Man Arrested After Club Drug Found

A 24-year-old North End man was arraigned Tuesday on a charge that he intended to distribute the designer club drug "Molly".

Police say their Organized Crime & Intellegence Bureau executed a search warrant Monday evening around 6:30pm which resulted in approximately eight grams of Molly being seized from Nathan Dias's residence at 34 Milford Street.

The search warrant was executed after a several-month-long investigation by Detective Shawn Robert. Police say they found the drug inside of a stereo system.

Dias was arraigned Tuesday.
