New Bedford Man Arrested at Dartmouth Mall for Allegedly Exposing Himself
Dartmouth Police arrested a New Bedford man last week on charges he exposed himself to staff members at one of the stores in the Dartmouth Mall.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the H&M store in the mall on Wednesday, February 9 at about 5:30 p.m. on a report of a man who “on several previous occasions since January, allegedly exposed his genitals to staff members in the fitting room area.”
Several staff members of H&M provided police with statements as part of the investigation.
Officers located the suspect – identified as Jeremiah Moran, 34, of New Bedford – inside the mall. He was placed under arrest and charged with open and gross lewdness.
“We have no place for activity such as this in our community,” Police Chief Brian P. Levesque said. “’I’m very pleased that my officers were able to locate and arrest him before he could do this again.”
