NEW BEDFORD — A three-year-old New Bedford girl was rushed to the hospital after falling into a pool in the backyard of her home.
The incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31. New Bedford Police and EMS responded a Christopher Street home for a report of a child that was injured in an incident involving a swimming pool.
According to New Bedford Police, the girl was given medical treatment at the scene and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.
There is no word on her condition. We will update this story if more information becomes available.
