New Bedford, Fall River Schools Plan Early Dismissal Tuesday

With snow in the forecast for Tuesday and hazardous travel expected, both the New Bedford and Fall River Public Schools have announced early dismissal for students tomorrow.

In New Bedford, the dismissals will be in the following order:

10:10 a.m. – Trinity Day Academy, Whaling City Jr/Sr. High School, Parenting Teens

10:34 a.m. – New Bedford High School

10:55 a.. – Keith, Normandin and Roosevelt Middle Schools

11:30 a.m. - All elementary schools (except Pulaski)

12:00 p.m. - Pulaski Elementary

All after-school programs and activities are canceled.

In Fall River, dismissals will be as follows:

11:00 a.m. - B.M.C Durfee High School, Resiliency Preparatory Academy

11:30 a.m. - Alfred S. Letourneau Elementary School, Frank M. Silvia Elementary School, Carlton M. Viveiros Elementary, John J. Doran Elementary School, Stone K-8 Day School, Matthew J. Kuss Middle School, Morton Middle School, Edmond P. Talbot Middle School

12:30 p.m. - James Tansey Elementary School, Spencer Borden Elementary, William S. Greene Elementary School, Samuel Watson School, Henry Lord Community School

12:52 p.m. - Mary L. Fonseca Elementary School
