New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge Closed to Vehicle Traffic
NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) —The New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge is once again stuck.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the bridge is stuck in the open position and is expected to be closed to vehicle traffic for the next several hours.
MassDOT said the bridge was stuck due to a "mechanical issue" but did not provide any more information.
