New Bedford Detectives Arrest Six on Drug Charges
New Bedford Narcotics Detectives carried out a search warrant on March 24th at 116 County Street, Apartment No. 12.
They arrested six suspects and recovered baggies of cocaine and marijuana, packaging materials and digital scales, and more than $2,600 in cash.
Police say 42-year old Dennis Hart was the primary target of the investigation. He lives at the County Street address and has a previous conviction for drug distribution. Police say he was last arrested in February for narcotics violations.
Others arrested include 34-year old Andre Guinier, 42-year old Melissa Bennett, Natasha Sebastiao, 23, 28-year old Kalene Froelich, and 44-year old Douglas Nunes. All are from New Bedford and all face a variety of narcotics-related charges.
According to Police, the 116 County Street property has been the subject of numerous complaints regarding drug activity.
