NEW BEDFORD — Two people have been arrested as the result of an investigation into a fentanyl distribution service being run out of a home.

Members of the New Bedford Police Department's Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 33 Sherman Street on Wednesday, seizing ver 24 grams of fentanyl, 191 suboxone film strips, 60 tabs of methadone, 31 tabs of clonazepam, and $689 in cash.

Police arrested the occupants of the home, Nicholas Silva, 32, and Jillian Temple, 33. Both have been charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws, trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute a Class A and B substance. Silva and Temple were arraigned Thursday on the charges in New Bedford District Court.
