New Bedford Couple Arrested After Police Find Drugs in Stolen Mercedes
NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police recover a stolen Mercedes-Benz and drugs Wednesday night.
Members of the Gang Unit located the stolen 2006 Mercedes-Benz S430 at North Front and Tallman Streets at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, and arrested the occupants of the car.
19-year-old Brandon Frank and 29-year-old Kessy Torres, both of 437 Cedar Grove Street, New Bedford, face charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. Police found 4.3 grams of crack cocaine in their possession, along with cash and packaging materials.
Both suspects have open cases in New Bedford Third District Court for receiving a stolen motor vehicle in relation to an incident on December 14, 2016.
