New Bedford Bank Robbed
NEW BEDFORD — Police are searching for a woman who robbed the Santander Bank at 1238 Kempton Street in New Bedford at about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money and fled with an undetermined amount of money. No weapon was shown.
The suspect is described as a white female in her 20s, wearing sunglasses and a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt.
She is described as short, with her dark hair in a bun, and is wearing blue Nike sneakers with a white swoosh design and white soles. She was carrying a tan bag with black handles.
The suspect fled on foot west through the parking lot.
