
New Bedford 7-Eleven Robbed at Knifepoint Monday Night
A New Bedford convenience store was robbed at knifepoint Monday night.
Police say a man walked into the 7-Eleven on Acushnet Avenue in the North End shortly before midnight Monday, threatened the clerk with a knife, and demanded cash. The suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of money. Nobody was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'10", with an unshaven face. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and black clothing.
Police are collecting surveillance video of the incident.
