ABC 6's segment on violence in New Bedford High School has motivated some students to speak out. Seniors Eldric Abreu, Jesse Almeida, and Tito Fernandes, Jr., appeared on WBSM's "Mid-Day Live", accentuating the positive aspects they've experienced at the high school.

Tito Fernandes admitted he goofed off during his freshman year, but the teachers at the high school straightened him out.

All three students watched the ABC 6 segment, which depicted the school as having violent fights between students nearly every day.

Tito, Eldric, and Jesse agree they haven't seen one fight in their four years at the school. Abreu says he can't recall witnessing any sort of violence at the school.

The three seniors want the public to see the positive aspects of the school, and promote enthusiasm in education.
