Myrtle Street Homicide

New Bedford and State Police Detectives from the D A's office are investigating a homicide on Myrtle Street in New Bedford early Thursday morning. Police responded to a 911 call where they found a man suffering from life threatening injuries. He was identified as 23 year old Patrick Alves of New Bedford. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where was pronounced dead. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death
