Motorcyclist Hospitalized in Westport Crash
WESTPORT — A motorcyclist has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash on Route 195 in Westport on Wednesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police spokesperson David Procopio confirmed that the crash took place at around 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday in Westport very close to the Fall River line.
Traffic is backed up on 195 westbound near the scene of the crash just before exit 14B to Route 24 north.

The motorcycle operator was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Procopio said.
He added that state police are waiting for an update on the person's condition.
As of 7:45 a.m., traffic is still backed up on Route 195 and on the Route 88 on-ramp to 195.
