A week after being added to the State Police's Most Wanted list, a Fall River teen has been captured in connection with a summer murder in the city.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says 16-year-old Jayden Smith was arrested before midnight Monday by Fall River and State Police.

Smith was listed as wanted by authorities shortly after the July 11 shooting death of Jerrod Cohen outside of the victim's Plain Street home in Fall River.

Smith was indicted last month on charges of murder, carrying an illegal firearm, and possession of a loaded illegal firearm.

Smith will be arraigned Tuesday in Fall River Superior Court.
