More Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found in New Bedford
More anti-Semitic graffiti has been discovered in New Bedford.
New Bedford Police are investigating after vandals spray painted three swastikas on the sidewalk on Mill Street, near County Street.
The graffiti was discovered around 8:34 p.m. Tuesday. It is not known when it was painted, but New Bedford Police believe it may have been painted overnight Monday into Tuesday.
Police believe the Mill Street graffiti is connected with the swastikas found painted on a building and a sidewalk on Dover Street that was discovered Tuesday afternoon.
The graffiti has been photographed and the Department of Public Infrastructure has been contacted about removing it. The Dover Street graffiti was sandblasted away on Tuesday afternoon.
There are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact New Bedford Police at (508) 991-6350, or the anonymous tip line at (508) 992-7463. Police can also be reached via email at tip@newbedfordpd.com.
