Mitchell: “Without Concessions I Would Have Walked Away”

Mayor Jon Mitchell says KG Urban Enterprises was willing to make concessions in key areas and that's why a casino on New Bedford's waterfront is once step closer to happening.....

Among the provisions the Mayor sought were annual payments totaling $12.5 million a year, and the building of a conference center on the waterfront, both of which KG Urban agreed to.

Kg Urban must now line up its financing for the $650-million plan., and submit its initial application by May 4th.

Mitchell made his comments during an interview with WBSM's Taylor Cormier.
