Mayor: Feast Is About Family, Faith, Food And Fun

Mayor Jon Mitchell says he's proud of the Feast of The Blessed Sacrament. The 100th Feast opens Thursday at 6pm in the North End, and continues throughout the weekend.

Speaking on his weekly radio program on WBSM, the Mayor says he's pleased the Feast has stuck to its traditional roots.....

There's a couple of changes in this year's Feast. First, the Feast will have extended hours on Friday, with activities beginning at 12 noon.

And on Sunday, the giant Feast Parade will start one hour later at 3pm.
