Mattapan Man Found in New Bedford Attic with Fentanyl

NEW BEDFORD — A Mattapan man has been arrested after he was found in possession of drugs in an attic in New Bedford, police say.

Police responded to a report of a man in the attic of 18 Holly Street in New Bedford's North End at around 8:42 p.m. Monday. Responding officers found Daniel Resto Clemente, 26, of 6 Deering Road, Mattapan, in the attic. Police say Clemente was in possession of over ten grams of Fentanyl and over $230 in cash.

Clemente was arrested and charged with trafficking in Fentanyl, trespassing, and breaking and entering of a building in the nighttime.
